What can we tell you about Maddi? Hmmm.....Her name suits her ~ she's more than a little bit of a ratbag! (for international visitors, this translates into mischievious mayhem). Maddi doesn't live with us, but is honorary family, as we borrow her from time to time to show her. She's a very happy, exuberant RR (to put it mildly!), but Simon (her 'dad') can't complain that we didn't warn him when he was selecting his pick of litter. We advised him that the three show potential girls had been marked by us on a scale of 1 - 10 for the 'ratbag' factor, and she scored an 11, which he then promptly decided was good enough for him. On her first day alone at home, Maddi managed to gain illegal access to the house, and made herself totally at home on the beds, dragging pillows and blankets around in the spare room and causing general havoc.....she hasn't stopped since! What she loves best though is going running with Simon, and being with him wherever he's able to take her. While happy as Simon's companion, Maddi is also an accomplished showdog - she easily achieved the 100 points she required for her Australian Champion title, beginning with Challenge Bitch from the Puppy Class at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show against quality competition (35 bitches) and taking some major challenges at All Breeds shows along the way. Her show career, although limited, has been highly successful, as evidenced by just some of the results and critiques listed below:

	Nice head. My winner took it basically on movement, very stylish, lovely angles, nice tuck up, good tail set, good feet, good expression.

	Lovely bitch. Good size. Good head. Perhaps not quite as round an eye as I like. Good ear, lovely length of neck and lay of shoulder, very well ribbed and excellent topline. Nice balanced hindquarter, tail set good. Very nice bitch. Excellent, easy flowing movement and good ring presence.
October 03 Mrs Ann Gates UK (Eagleridge)	RR Club Inc Championship Show, Sydney NSW 2nd Intermediate Bitch (of 19), Best Headed Bitch
	Wheaten with dark muzzle and ears, lovely feminine head and expression with correct round eye and good earset, nice length of neck and good topline, balanced angulation front and rear, with well knuckled up feet. Moved well
